Literature Text

Over the seas slowly trudges a haunted ship
A ship, itself is dead tired and worn down.
Its sails are torn, planks rotted and worm's own
But it keeps going on and on, an endless trip

The captain with the ship's kobold cut a deal
'Twas part of a game the hapless captain won
May there be calms or storms with thunder's peal
Come what may, this ship will now sail on.
The cursed captain survived plague and pox
Same goes only for the ancient cox
The chef fed the fishes long ago, so long
All other's whereabouts are unknown.
So hear me now, hear this woeful song.
Of a captian who now reaps what he has sown.

Over the sea a cursed ship slowly trugdes
A ship, itself is worn down and dead tired
Its sails and planks caulked with thick smudges
It keeps going on and on, as long as required
The planks are almost rotted, the sails torn
But it keeps going on and on, so it was sworn
Until its time has come the ship will sail
Until the captain abandons all hopes and dreams
As long as the captain will not fail
The ship travels on and no home port gleams.
Another sailor/pirate related poem.
It was inspired by the german song "Singapur" by the band "Keimzeit" (though by now, there is not much similarity left).
