Oh, if I could paint a picture of you
All the world's colours were not enough
And no art style could be sufficient, too
All the brushes were too soft and too rough.

I'm no artist and never will I be
Skillful enough to capture your beauty
And ban it on paper with words, you see
Still, trying is my self-imposed duty.

But words are inaccurate and fleeting
And I'm not a proficient poet, oh no!
All I can do for you is completing
A song, even though its words I don't know.
